I was sitting just below Baltit Fort one day and met a friendly local. We chatted for a few good hours under a malberry tree. The next day we took a day trip together to Ultar Meadow, and on the way back he took me to his father's farm to eat cherries under a big cherry tree! People in Pakistan is just that warm welcoming.

wow. so powerful and pristine. i need to get moving and make it to this part of the world. simply humbling! i love the hangover branch with leaves framing the upper left of this photo... wonderful capture!

majestic looking mountains in the far distance... the natural framing close up give a good sense of the depth of field and distance ahead...
